You Don’t Need To Be A Genius to Work Your iPod
A genius is not a genius in everything. Every armor has a chink somewhere, in other words. This is what I’ve learned from a friend who is one. Having aced each and every exam our school ever had is no small feat. And yet, you never see him studying in school. At one time, I passed by his home to invite him to a table tennis game and I had the surprise in my life when he was still asleep around noontime. Sports, music, studies – you name it – is where he excels in. He is good at just about everything except computers and gadgets. Like I said, he loves music but hates gadgets. I think the conflict there arose from his view of computers – and robots – as the enemy of man; talk about Terminator movies. On one occasion, his mother unfortunately – or forthunately for many – bought him an iPod touch but since he found it a waste to dispose of it, he decided to learn with my help. I was shocked that he did not even know how to erase songs from ipod by himself when I easily figured it out when I bought myself one – without help or tutorials whatsoever. When I finally finished setting up his Apple gadget, he still asked me again this question: how do i work my ipod touch. So, I gave him a site and a manual. I told him to read by himself. This genius friend of mine does not actually lack the know-how. In my opinion, he looks like the person who’s had enough of books or lessons. But then again, these are the time where he has to learn by himself again.
