Energy Renewables
Energy renewables play an important role in our global need for power. As the cost of oil and coal and natural gas rises, people are looking for alternative energy sources. Oil and coal are dangerous resources to extract from the ground. They require oil rigs and mining which puts many men at risk. The limits to oil and coal will mean that one day, these sources will run out. And as we mine and drill for sources closer to home now, those wells and mines will eventually dry up. This means people will have to go to more dangerous areas in order to get the oil and coal.
Because of the risk, and because people will venture out into distant territories for oil and coal, such as the depths of the oceans, this means oil and coal may continue to be more and more expensive. This means bigger rigs, big ships for shipping product to refineries, and a massive amount of more people out there working on these sources. If those people were instead working in plants that produce energy from renewables, we could then have plenty of work for those people, have renewable and safer energy sources and eventually reduce the need for oil and coal.
Energy renewables may be the salvation for many people. We already are starting to use electric cars, reduce the need for energy in homes by turning off lights and electronics when not working, and using lightbulbs with energy saving technology. Scientists are always trying to find new ways to use energy from natural sources to reduce the need for oil and coal. Once these are used more by people, it will eliminate the needy push for energy from sources that may run out eventually. Companies are scrambling to develop and interject more products into the marketplace that help to eliminate the use of burnable energy.
The need for oil and coal may never be truly gone. We use coal and oil for a number of different things besides energy. However, if the need for it were reduced in greater masses because of people using renewable energy sources, there would be less need for risky ventures to get these resources. Oil and coal could then be focused on the products that actually need it. The energy renewables could help everyone in the long run, once the focus from companies help us get to that point where we can do this.
